After earlier success in both Australia and Japan, 2016 cemented Cartwright & Butler as a global brand by moving in on the US market. To further raise their profile, they needed a website to convey a message of tradition, nostalgia and the essence of home produce to a modern, discerning consumer.
Lilo suggested Magento as the platform of choice for the new Cartwright & butler site, which would cater to all the goals they were targeting. Because the Magento admin interface is easy to navigate, it would make the management of their product inventory a simple exercise.
An important prequisite was that the new site be responsive / mobile-friendly – to cater to users of all devices. Usability was also crucial, where the site should skillfully lead users to purchase products step-by-step, creating a simple yet rich, interactive experience.
Google Analytics and e-commerce tracking was also implemented – to gather data on how the site is used, and use that information to constantly improve the website.
