The Challenge
Achieving for Children is a social enterprise company created by the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to provide child services.

Their first website was designed when the company started out in 2014, and it was no longer communicating the right language or tone to its users.
As a vibrant new organisation, the static and text-based approach to the previous design was outdated.
A user-friendly content management system was also required, for the in-house Achieving for Children team to add news and events, and demonstrate how their work is making a difference to people’s lives. The entire site also needed to be mobile-friendly and accessible on devices of all sizes. We were delighted when they approached us for the project.
The Solution
| We facilitated various meetings with Achieving For Children key holders at their office, in order to fully understand their vision and requirements for the new site. Based on those workshops, we chose WordPress to provide Achieving for Children with an easy and accessible content management system. | Project Scope of Works

Also with its powerful media management, it would be simple for them to upload relevant media to showcase their amazing work through case studies, news items, photos, testimonials, and more.
| The web design needed updating to correspond with their brand guidelines, and to create a platform that offered a more visually engaging look. By incorporating more colour and creating content sliders, the site portrays a more dynamic presence. With a clear layout and simplified navigation, users are provided with a quick, clear summary of who the company is, and crucially, the services that they offer to schools, local authorities, charities, the corporate sector, and more. |

The Result
The success of this project is clearly demonstrated in the increase in traffic and engagement with the site. We are all very proud of the new site, from the bright design to the slick UX, and of course, the WordPress set-up, set up in an easy-to-use manner.
