The Challenge
We had the privilege to collaborate with Mainet on a rebranding project for Marks & Spencer.
Sector: | Retail |
Target Audience: | B2C & B2B |
Services | Branding, Creative Direction, Production |
Technologies: | Illustrator, Fireworks |
Location: | UK |
We worked with Mainet on a wide range of branding projects and we were thrilled when they approached us to come up with a fresh branding strategy for the existing ATMs inside one of the Marks & Spencer stores.
The Solution
We were given images showing the existing panels of ATMs to be placed within Mark & Spencer’s stores. The images made it clear that these ATMs were prone to getting damaged by shopping carts. Mainet provided us with technical blueprints of what the ATMs would look like and commissioned us to redesign the outside panels. | Project Scope of Works
|
To achieve this, we implemented a full site audit from where a comprehensive strategy was put into place.
We branded the new panels with the M&S logo and implemented colours that were both practical and visually pleasing. The end result was an innovative ATM design with a functional rubber band to prevent customers from bumping into it. The M&S logo stands out on the black background and the overall design illustrates what creative branding can do when combined with effective industrial design. | Resources / Planning

The Result
The result is a groundbreaking, niche design, showcasing and respecting the M&S brand. Once again, a success based on collaborative work and our creative skills.
