Brief

Wine Cellar specialises in fine local and international wines, as well as cellaring and wine events.

Wine Cellar approached Lilo to design and develop an ecommerce solution which would allow the company to sell wine online – instead of just via phone or email as they had previously done.

What We Did

Lilo suggested popular ecommerce platform Magento, which would allow them to effortlessly manage their own inventory.

Users were given the option to filter their wine searches by region, style of wine, or price – making it easy to find the right wine.

Traditional payment options were integrated, as well as Snapscan – a South African online banking option that gives customers a safer checkout coupled with a simpler payment experience.
