Osborne & Little is a leading name in fabric and wallpaper design, with a reputation for quality and innovation. Osborne & Little has developed into one of the great British brands, globally respected and renowned.

Started in the London of the Swinging Sixties, Osborne & Little’s very first award-winning collection of exciting hand-printed wallpaper broadened design horizons and brought the company instant success.

Osborne & Little - Magento 2 Project

The Brief.

Osborne & Little wanted an improved platform where they could showcase their own designs, as well those of the designers they represent – Nina Campbell, Matthew Williamson and Lorca.

A crucial requirement was that users should be able to easily order fabric samples after viewing any collection.

The Osborne & Little staff also needed a streamlined and user-friendly back-end interface to manage their large and varied collection of quality fabrics, wallpapers and trimmings.

Another important aspect was that the new site should be responsive, in order to create an optimised environment for mobile users.

For this we recommended the Magento ecommerce platform.

2022 Redesign

Towards the end of 2021 O&L approached us to provide a refresh of the current site – to be staggered in 2022 in two phases.

Phase 1 introduced the majority of the redesign, with the entire site given extra width to showcase Osborne & Little’s extensive range of fabrics and wallcoverings. The main navigation was also updated with a new mega menu to immediately provide users with direct links to their preferred content, while also making it fixed to always provide options to link to.

The home page took full advantage of the expanded width with a new slider to highlight new collections. Page elements were also simplified to direct users to the core landing pages.
