Building Crafts College. 125 Years of Crafting Excellence – Lilo

Brief

Founded in 1893, the Building Crafts College trains young people in a range of construction crafts. It has a long tradition of delivering high-quality education training in building crafts and building conservation.

Building Crafts College was in need of an improved website to better showcase their courses and attract new students. For this a new content management system was needed in order for the school to easily create and edit their own content.

What We Did

Lilo recommended WordPress for this project due to its ease of use in managing content. Class information, college vacancies and apprenticeships, events and other news can also now easily be added.

All of this information is easily accessible from the home page, which is laid out in a sleek irregular grid. An online application form was implemented for potential students to apply for their chosen courses.

To give the site a boost in organic search rankings, we ensured the site was responsive (mobile-friendly) and all elements were set up to be SEO-friendly.
