The crucial requirement was that users should be able to easily order fabric samples after viewing any collection. The Osborne & Little staff also needed a streamlined and user-friendly back-end interface to manage their large and varied collection of quality fabrics, wallpapers and trimmings. Another important aspect was that the new site should be responsive, in order to create an optimised environment for mobile users.

The Solution

For this we recommended the Magento ecommerce platform that featured a highly-customised product filter, so users could easily see what is on offer from each designer. In this case study, we chose to build a Magento site because it is open source and highly customisable. This meant that Osbourne and Little could have the luxury of a unique site customised functionality that suited their business needs. Magento also offers website owners the option of having 3rd party integrations such as payment gateways, shipping automation and tag management tools.
