The established brand was struggling to generate online sales, their existing website was outdated and struggling to perform.
DKB Household, the holding company for Zyliss, approached us for the re-design and development of their UK eCommerce website.
The user experience was convoluted and confusing, not giving credit to the quality and edge of their products. With little to no site optimisation, this site was not ranking as it should for a brand of its stature.
The Solution
| The previous Zyliss UK site featured a simple catalogue, linking to their international (US) eCommerce site to complete purchases. To improve the sales of their products throughout Europe, a full Magento solution was needed to cater for this market. The new site was launched mid-2016 with a host of new features.

The design of the new Magento website is strongly based on Zyliss existing brand guidelines, branding material and images.
| A geotagging feature was implemented to automatically direct European consumers to the new UK website.
In January 2018, we redesigned Zyliss’s website on Magento 2. We started by hosting and facilitating workshops at DKB UK headquarters with their marketing teams. The meetings took place in their showroom, surrendered by their products and branding. This allowed us all to immerse ourselves in their brand identity and offerings, a perfect way to ignite creativity. |

The Result
The final product, a clean and innovative UX and design, is a real success. We are all over the moon with this slick Magento site which ended up being the perfect platform to engage Zyliss’s customers, enticing them to purchase the right products for them.
The effect on sales and ranking was immediate. The project’s success is based on our close working relationship with Zyliss’s marketing team, leading to the creation of a unique UX and design experience, supported by a robust and scalable Magento implementation.
