01. FRONT END DEVELOPMENT
All of our interface designs are a product of the following process which has been
developed over several years.
1.1. Briefing / Discovery Phase:
Within this phase Lilo will facilitate the Consultation with the Client and undertake a briefing and discovery phase. The results of this will be
a completed creative brief; we find this process to be very useful, similar to a brainstorming session only with more structure, it often brings
out many un-anticipated issues.
1.2. Benchmarking and Data Analysis:
By analysing the results of the above, we can begin building up a PowerPoint presentation of our findings. Generally we would look at similar industries;
if your site was found to be unique we look at surrounding industries. This process is very useful in ensuring that the site is a market leader. This
process will concentrate on the sites strengths and weaknesses with particular focus being paid to the following:
- Functionality / Usability
- Ease of navigation
- Clarity of information
- General look and feel
- Market Positioning
1.3. Usability and Planning:
Using the data gathered from the above phase, we can then start looking at overall site structures. Streamlining the site structure and content to
work more efficiently and ensure information is structured in an easy to use and logical manner. The result of this phase would be a site map for
client acceptance and sign off, as well as a wire-frame of homepage. The wire frame assists in distilling various aspects of the site such as the
brand placement and imagery, site tone, various call to actions such as promotional items, up and coming events, ensuring that users are presented
with a structured journey through the site.
The Wire Frame will focus on the following:
- Branding Placement
- Imagery
- Content
- Navigation bar
- Special Offers
Once all the above phases are complete then the real design work can begin.
1.4. Concept Designs and Positioning:
This is first phase of the creative process, where we would develop concepts and themes, through illustrations and other inspirational
resources, determining the correct market positioning. These would be digitised and three to five concept designs would be presented to the client,
usually in black and white to avoid the clashing of colour personality too early on in the process. In cases where defined corporate web and
design standards are defined, this is taken into consideration at the beginning of the process.
1.5. Design Focus and Colouring:
After the initial concepts have been presented, either as printed literature or as an online version. Feedback from the client would be analysed and
one or more of the designs would be developed further into the final design, ready to be coloured. At this point colour swatches would be investigated
and a range of selected swatches presented, and integrated into the designs.

02. BACK END DEVELOPMENT
The following flow diagram is a brief overview of backend development processes. Most backend work is bespoke so it is a little harder to predict the
true scope of work however, using the following methodology we can gauge and predict most eventualities.
03. PROJECT MANAGEMENT QUALITY PLAN
Lilo follow standard PRINCE2 delivery methodology for all large projects for smaller projects Lilo will follow a ‘cut down’ version of PRINCE2 which
will enable the project to be delivered without the full red tape of full methodology. Lilo will appoint the necessary account manager and project
manager to ensure the project is run efficiently and delivered on time.
